in the dark depths of the ocean.

More than 95% of Earth’s biosphere is found here

…and yet we know so little about the deep sea.

We may not see the invisible connections reaching between the skies, the open seas and down into the deep, but they bind us all together on this, our ocean planet.

Wherever humanity makes a mark in the ocean, the entire system is affected in ways that we are only just beginning to comprehend.

One way or another,

decisions being made now about the deep will determine the future of humanity.
